We were super excited when the Mindful Chef’s co-founders Myles Hopper and Giles Humphries became the very first people to try out the novel concept of virtual reality (VR) mindfulness at our fabulous ‘wellness shed’ pop-up last week.
The world’s first ‘wellness shed’ contained a VR mindfulness experience that involved stirring a pot of soup as slowly as possible. The idea behind it was to demonstrate the benefits of taking a few moments to be mindful, whatever you’re doing and wherever you are.
Myles Hopper, Mindful Chef co-founder, told us: “Our whole ethos is that we don’t believe in meticulous calorie counting or following fad diets. We like wholesome food that benefits you and your body; food that you can eat mindfully because you’re safe in the knowledge that what you’re eating is good for you.
“GLORIOUS! Soups ‘wellness shed’ is an ingenious way to experience mindfulness. The virtual reality technology really immerses you in a kitchen environment and it did feel very calming to stir the pot of soup slowly.”
The world’s first wellness shed pop-up was held to mark the launch of GLORIOUS! Soups new & improved range of Super Soups. The flavours are:
